There's a wonderful juiciness to the fruit in the South Australian Blackfoot Daisy with a mass of lovely textures and complexity. Classic plum and damson notes are complemented by gentle hints that remind of wild mint. We were thrilled when Steve laid his hands on some perfectly mature, supple bodied Merlot from a neighbouring estate. So after vigorous testing this proves to be a great wine to enjoy with griddled duck breast, redcurrant sauce and dauphinoise potatoes.
