About the Wine

Château Vieux Lesnier comes to life from a blend of 90% Merlot 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and vineyards of almost 30 years, which extend over 22 hectares of clay and limestone soil, near Perissac, near Libourne and Fronsac.

The vines are treated with meticulous care, without herbicides and with sustainable agriculture. The vinification is traditional, while the maceration takes place for 21 days in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature.

Its intense red color stands out in the glass, with carmine reflections, while it intoxicates the nose with aromas of red fruits and spicy aromas. On the palate it confirms the already perceived fruity scents and wraps with its round and well-structured tannins. It gives a soft and spicy finish.

It is the ideal wine to marry a rib with mushroom sauce, elaborate dishes such as candied duck and cheeses such as Camembert.
