For too long now we've had our Chardonnay blinkers on, since the grape took the world by storm some fifteen years ago and then suddenly fell from grace. Some of the very best whites in the world, from Corton in Burgundy, to Pierro et al in Oz, this is a grape that, done right, dazzles like none other. So we think it's a little premature to sound the death knell on its reign. And we asked old Adam Hooper in the McLaren Vale to sort us out one supporting that idea.
